Bastille Opera (Paris, France) has appointed ADB France to supply the New Stage Lighting Dimmer System
ADB France has won the recent tender of the Opera Bastille to replace the stage lighting dimmers originally installed in 1989. After profound tests of various competing products the technical team has chosen for ADBs EURODIM Twin Tech System. A total of 906 circuits of which 792 circuits 5kW, 42 circuits of 10kW and 72 circuits of Fluorescent will be installed. Further all the supplied dimmer modules will be of ADB's exclusive DimSwitch 400µsec type. This unique dual capability thyristor module can act both as a switch of normally non-dimmable loads (e.g. HMI Ballasts) or as a normal dimmer for tungsten lamps with no minimum load required, depending on the requirement of the customer.
